This policy covers Jotikin Backup Automation, the private tool that copies Jotikin recovery data to Google Drive. It does not describe the separate Jotikin customer application.
Data and purpose
The tool obtains Google Drive access only after the Google account
holder authorizes it. It requests the drive.file permission
to create, identify, verify, retrieve, and manage backup files used with
this app. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files.
Backups may contain Jotikin business and customer data from Cloudflare D1 databases, R2 storage, and source recovery files. The backup process encrypts those contents with age before uploading them to Google Drive. Drive stores the encrypted files and associated file metadata, such as names and dates.
Processing and sharing
GitHub Actions runs the backup process, Cloudflare hosts the source systems, and Google Drive stores the independent encrypted copy. Google Drive data obtained through this permission is used only for this backup and recovery purpose. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Security and retention
OAuth credentials are held in restricted automation secrets. Decryption keys are kept separate from the encrypted Drive copy. Encrypted backup files remain in Drive until the Jotikin operator deletes them. Revoking Google account access stops future Drive operations but does not itself delete existing backup files.
